All finished works of art will ship with "signature confirmation" upon delivery. If for any reason this isn't acceptable, please get in touch at info@sarahkbenning.com upon checkout, we will work to accommodate your shipping needs, but always aim to ensure the most reliable delivery.

+ PROCESSING TIME

Sarah K. Benning Arts INC ships from Baltimore, MD. Domestic shipping is included with your purchase at no extra charge. Please see information about "International Orders" for additional rates.

All packages are shipped USPS first class, priority mail, or first class international. Delivery times vary.

Once payment has been processed, your purchase will ship within 5-7 business days (Monday-Friday; excluding US holiday and extreme weather events) unless otherwise specified in a product’s listing information. As a two-person business we do our best to package + ship each order with care and in a timely manner. Unfortunately, in most circumstances, we cannot accommodate rushed orders. When your item(s) ships you will receive an email confirmation with USPS tracking information when applicable.

+ Packaging

We use a variety of packaging materials to ship your purchases as safely and efficiently as possible. Sustainability is important to us and recycled packaging may be used.

Since you will receive an order confirmation and shipping notification to your email, packing slips will not automatically be included in your package. If you require a paper receipt, please let us know at info@sarahkbenning.com.

+ International Orders

International shipping surcharges due to covid-19 have greatly impacted the ability to ship at a reasonable rate to certain areas. Our website does not have the ability to calculate each country’s shipping requirements, and additional shipping charges may be invoiced to you after your order is placed. We will notify you as soon as possible regarding this matter and we’re sorry for any inconvenience this may cause. If we are able to ship your parcel for less, we will always issue a refund for the extra amount. International customers are responsible for all customs/duty fees incurred during the shipping process. We have implemented these flat rates for the following regions: Europe: $30` Canada: $30 Central America, South America, The Caribbean: $30 Australia + New Zealand: $35

All packages will be classified as 'merchandise' on the required customs label at their purchased value. Sarah K. Benning Studios, LLC will not mark international packages as gifts (it's illegal!). Any customs charges, VAT fees, or other duties are the responsibility of the buyer.

If a package is returned to Sarah K. Benning Studios, LLC because the buyer has declined to pay customs fees, VAT, duty taxes, or any other import charges necessary to receive international mail or has not claimed a package after delivery attempts, the buyer will be notified by email. The buyer must repay the shipping costs before the item(s) can be shipped again. If preferred, a refund may be issued minus a 20% re-stocking fee and minus the original shipping expenses.

If you are shopping from the EU, you have the right to return physical items within 14 days of receiving them. (All digital pattern purchases are final.) A full refund will be issued once the item is back in our possession. Return shipping is the responisbility of the customer.

+ ESTIMATED DELIVERY TIMES

Estimated Delivery Times as described by USPS:

United States : 3-10 business days

Europe : 15-45 business days.

Other Countries: 15-60 business days

Before/After Christmas there can to be up to 3 weeks of delays (Nov 15th to Jan 15th).

These delivery times are only estimates. Please understand that once a package has been shipped, transit and delivery times are beyond the control of Sarah K. Benning Arts INC. Please be patient and understand that international packages may take several weeks or even months to arrive.

+ LOSS + DAMAGES

If your package is taking longer than the estimated delivery time, please be patient. Your package may be delayed for any number of reasons outside of the control of our studio.

Sarah K. Benning Arts INC will not be held responsible for the loss or damage of items while in transit, but we will assist you to the best of our abilities in tracking down your package with USPS.

Benning Arts INC because the buyer provided the wrong address, has declined to pay customs of VAT fees, or has not claimed a package after delivery attempts, the buyer will be notified by email. + RETURNS + Exchanges

First and foremost we want you to be happy with your purchase. We put a great deal of effort into communicating the nature of our products through images and descriptions, but please don’t hesitate to contact info@sarahkbenning.com with questions or concerns regarding your order.

Due to the specialized nature of this work, returns and/or exchanges are generally not accepted. Please make sure to read product descriptions, dimensions, and our policies carefully before completing your purchase.

In the unlikely event that you receive a defective or damaged product (with the exception of damages incurred during transit as a result of mishandling by the shipping service) a refund may be possible. This will be handled on a case by case basis. Please contact info@sarahkbenning.com within 2 days of receiving your purchase with images and a description of the problem. Before a refund is possible, the defective product must be returned in it’s original condition and packaging. Shipping expenses are the responsibility of the customer. In these circumstances exchanges may be possible with certain items.

Color variation will not be considered as ‘defective or damaged.' Great care is taken to accurately document and describe each product and color variations may occur due to the buyer's own monitor settings.
